I am an artist - have always been one, much to my parent's dismay!

There was a time when I would've only confessed to being an artist under torture. Somehow along the way I realized being an artist was not a death sentence, but by then it was rather late in life. In other words I have no formal training and with art, actually all things in life, that does make a difference.

You see - AI image generators set me free. Being hampered by a lack of training I had very little confidence in my talent. Not that it stopped me from painting and even selling some paintings, but I never got into full stride. That's all change thanks to AI!

I do appreciate the backlash against AI anything - but it might be largely misplaced loyalty!

Some of the most creative AI image prompt crafters on NightCafe claim not to be able to draw a stick figure and some of the worse claim to be artists! The non-artist say AI has set them free and honestly, as an artist I understand and I'm all for it!

Same goes for AI song generators. I've recently - within the last two years - discovered this magical connection between visual and auditory. I see an image and straight away I know there's a song there waiting to be born! I have again never studied music and only recently started studying song writing, but I am able to explore this combination with AI's help - all while looking after a bunch of rescue dogs, a colony of 15 - 16 cats and run a household in what's left of a house mostly blown away by an almost cat 5 hurricane!
